About the Role

We are currently seeking a dynamic and results-driven IT Business Analyst to join our innovative team at JASARA PMC. The IT Business Analyst will be responsible for analyzing business needs, identifying opportunities for technological improvement, and translating these insights into actionable strategies. Key Responsibilities

• Business Process Analysis: Conduct thorough assessments of existing business processes to identify inefficiencies, gaps, and opportunities for technological enhancement. Document findings and propose data-driven solutions to optimize workflows and improve productivity.
• Requirements Gathering: Engage with stakeholders across departments to elicit, analyze, and validate business requirements. Facilitate workshops, interviews, and surveys to ensure a comprehensive understanding of user needs and system functionalities.
• Solution Design and Evaluation: Collaborate with IT teams to design and evaluate potential technology solutions that address identified business challenges. Assess the feasibility, cost, and impact of proposed solutions to ensure alignment with strategic objectives.
• Stakeholder Communication: Act as a liaison between business units and IT departments, translating technical jargon into clear, actionable insights for non-technical audiences. Present findings, recommendations, and project updates to stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
• Project Management Support: Assist in the planning, execution, and monitoring of IT projects to ensure timely delivery and adherence to budget constraints. Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize disruptions.
• Data Analysis and Reporting: Leverage analytical tools and methodologies to interpret business data, generate insights, and produce actionable reports. Utilize these insights to inform decision-making and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Change Management: Lead change management efforts to ensure smooth adoption of new technologies and processes. Develop training materials, conduct user training sessions, and provide ongoing support to facilitate seamless transitions.
• Vendor and Technology Evaluation: Research and evaluate third-party vendors, software solutions, and emerging technologies to identify the best fit for organizational needs. Negotiate contracts and manage vendor relationships to ensure optimal service delivery.
• Compliance and Governance: Ensure that all IT initiatives comply with relevant industry regulations, security standards, and organizational policies. Stay abreast of technological advancements and regulatory changes to maintain compliance and mitigate risks.

Qualifications and Skills

To excel in this role, candidates must possess a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. A minimum of 5 years of experience in business analysis, IT consulting, or a related discipline is required. Professional certifications such as Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP), Project Management Professional (PMP), or Scrum Master are highly desirable. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong understanding of business process modeling, data analysis, and IT systems development. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills are essential for building consensus and driving collaboration across teams. Proficiency in tools such as Microsoft Office Suite, SQL, JIRA, and business intelligence platforms is preferred.
