Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Network Security Engineer to join our dynamic team in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. In this critical role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining advanced network security solutions to protect our clients’ infrastructures from evolving cyber threats. Your expertise will play a pivotal role in ensuring the integrity, confidentiality, and availability of our clients’ systems while aligning with industry best practices and compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Security Architecture Design: Develop and implement comprehensive network security architectures, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), VPNs, and endpoint security solutions.
• Threat Assessment & Mitigation: Conduct regular risk assessments, vulnerability scans, and penetration testing to identify potential security gaps and recommend proactive measures to mitigate risks.
• Incident Response & Management: Lead the investigation and resolution of security incidents, ensuring timely containment and recovery while documenting lessons learned for future prevention.
• Policy Development & Compliance: Create, enforce, and audit security policies and procedures in accordance with industry standards (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, PCI-DSS) and regulatory requirements.
• Network Monitoring & Optimization: Oversee 24/7 network security monitoring, analyze logs, and optimize performance to maintain high availability and resilience against cyber threats.
• Collaboration & Training: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including IT, DevOps, and executive leadership, to foster a culture of security awareness and provide guidance on best practices.
• Vendor & Technology Evaluation: Assess and integrate emerging security technologies and solutions to enhance the organization’s defensive capabilities.

Qualifications & Skills

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field. Advanced certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CEH, CCNP Security) are highly desirable.
• Experience: Minimum of 7 years of hands-on experience in network security engineering, with a proven track record in designing and securing enterprise-level networks.
• Technical Proficiency: Expertise in network security tools such as Palo Alto, Cisco ASA/Firepower, Fortinet, SIEM solutions (e.g., Splunk, QRadar), and vulnerability management platforms.
• Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities with a keen attention to detail to identify and address complex security challenges.
• Communication & Leadership: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and mentor junior team members.
