Key Responsibilities

• Risk Identification and Assessment: Conduct comprehensive risk assessments to identify potential threats, including operational, financial, strategic, and compliance-related risks. Utilize advanced methodologies and tools to evaluate risk exposure and prioritize mitigation efforts.
• Risk Mitigation and Management: Develop and implement robust risk management frameworks, policies, and procedures tailored to Egis’ business objectives. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and execute mitigation strategies that minimize exposure and enhance resilience.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure full adherence to local and international regulatory requirements, including ISO 31000, COSO, and relevant Saudi Arabian regulations. Monitor changes in legislation and industry standards to proactively adjust risk management strategies.
• Financial Risk Oversight: Monitor financial risks such as market volatility, credit exposure, and liquidity constraints. Provide actionable insights to senior management to support informed decision-making and safeguard Egis’ financial health.
• Operational Risk Management: Assess operational risks associated with project delivery, supply chain disruptions, and third-party engagements. Implement controls and contingency plans to ensure uninterrupted business operations.
• Reporting and Communication: Prepare detailed risk reports, dashboards, and presentations for stakeholders, including executive leadership and board members. Clearly articulate risk exposure, mitigation progress, and strategic recommendations to drive accountability and transparency.
• Training and Awareness: Foster a strong risk-aware culture within Egis by conducting training sessions, workshops, and awareness programs. Empower employees at all levels to recognize and report risks effectively.

Qualifications and Experience

To excel in this role, you must possess the following qualifications and attributes:

• A bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Risk Management, or a related field. A master’s degree or professional certification (e.g., FRM, PRM, or CRM) is highly desirable.
• Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in risk management, preferably within the infrastructure, construction, or engineering sectors. Experience in a multinational or consultancy environment is a plus.
• Strong analytical skills with proficiency in risk assessment tools, such as Monte Carlo simulations, SWOT analysis, and risk matrices. Familiarity with risk management software (e.g., RSA Archer, MetricStream) is advantageous.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence senior leadership and collaborate across departments.
• In-depth knowledge of regulatory frameworks, including Saudi Arabian laws and international standards. Experience with ISO 31000 and COSO frameworks is preferred.
• Proficiency in both English and Arabic, with fluency in written and verbal communication.
• Demonstrated leadership abilities, with a proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to continuous improvement.
