Role Overview

As a Senior Team Manager, you will be responsible for leading a self-directing, multi-functional team to efficiently manage the intake of birds and processing of poultry products. Your primary objective will be to meet internal customer requirements while adhering to defined product specifications, quality standards, and safety protocols. This role demands a proactive approach to ensure operational excellence and alignment with the company’s performance parameters.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the management of a high-performing, multi-functional team to ensure seamless processing and delivery of poultry products.
• Ensure strict adherence to product specifications, quality standards, and safety protocols throughout all operational processes.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to optimize plant operations, reduce costs, and enhance service levels through process improvements and plant modifications.
• Monitor and maintain compliance with ISO/HACCP-accredited standards and EU-certified product requirements.
• Conduct regular audits and assessments to uphold food safety systems and regulatory compliance.
• Foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment, managing a multicultural and multinational workforce effectively.
• Develop and implement training programs to enhance employee skills and productivity, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
• Coordinate with senior management, peers, and subordinates to drive operational efficiency and achieve performance targets.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Food Sciences, or Poultry Disciplines.
• 3 to 4 years of relevant experience in an ISO/HACCP-accredited rendering plant, with a focus on supplying EU-categorized products.
• In-depth knowledge of meat processing plants, packaging, and rendering operations.
• Strong operational expertise in food safety systems, audits, and compliance frameworks.
• Fluency in spoken and written English.
• Proven ability to implement international quality standards and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with the capacity to develop and motivate a diverse workforce.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment.
