Position Overview

Ades Holding, a leading diversified conglomerate based in Saudi Arabia, is seeking a skilled and experienced Day Tool Pusher to join our dynamic team. This role is critical to ensuring the efficient operation of our drilling and well intervention activities. The Day Tool Pusher will work under the supervision of the Tool Pusher and will be responsible for assisting in the preparation, maintenance, and deployment of downhole tools and equipment. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong commitment to safety, operational excellence, and teamwork in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Tool Preparation and Maintenance: Assist in the assembly, disassembly, and maintenance of downhole tools, ensuring they meet operational standards and safety protocols. This includes cleaning, inspecting, and testing tools to identify any defects or wear that could impact performance.
• Operational Support: Work closely with the Tool Pusher and field crews to prepare tools for deployment, including loading, unloading, and transporting equipment to and from the wellsite. Ensure tools are correctly staged and ready for use in accordance with project requirements.
• Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to all safety policies, procedures, and industry regulations to minimize risks and maintain a secure working environment. This includes participating in safety meetings, conducting toolbox talks, and reporting any hazards or incidents immediately.
• Record Keeping and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of tool usage, maintenance activities, and operational data. Prepare reports as required by management or regulatory bodies, ensuring all documentation is up-to-date and compliant with company standards.
• Troubleshooting and Problem Solving: Assist in diagnosing and resolving issues related to downhole tools, either in the workshop or at the wellsite. Collaborate with the engineering team to identify solutions and implement corrective actions to prevent recurring problems.
• Team Collaboration: Foster a collaborative work environment by communicating effectively with team members, supervisors, and other departments. Support colleagues in achieving operational goals and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the organization.

Qualifications and Experience

To excel in this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications and experience:

• A high school diploma or equivalent qualification; a technical diploma or certification in a related field is highly desirable.
• A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a similar role within the oil and gas industry, preferably in drilling or well intervention operations.
• Proven knowledge of downhole tools, equipment, and operational procedures, with hands-on experience in tool preparation and maintenance.
• Strong understanding of safety protocols, including HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) standards, and a commitment to maintaining a zero-incident workplace.
• Excellent physical stamina and the ability to work in demanding conditions, including outdoor environments and varying weather conditions.
• Proficiency in using basic hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment to perform job duties efficiently.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to work well in a team-oriented setting.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, or holidays, as required by operational demands.

Work Environment

The Day Tool Pusher will operate in a dynamic and challenging environment, primarily based at wellsites or in Ades Holding’s operational facilities in Saudi Arabia. The role may require travel to remote locations, exposure to outdoor elements, and adherence to strict safety and operational guidelines. Candidates must be prepared to work in shifts and adapt to changing schedules based on project requirements.
