Position Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Guest Room Maintenance: Perform thorough cleaning and sanitization of guest rooms, ensuring all areas meet the company’s rigorous hygiene standards. This includes dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and replenishing amenities such as towels, linens, and toiletries.
• Public Area Cleaning: Maintain the cleanliness and presentation of all public spaces, including lobbies, hallways, elevators, and recreational areas, to uphold the hotel’s reputation for excellence.
• Laundry Services: Handle the washing, ironing, and folding of linens and guest clothing, ensuring items are returned in pristine condition and delivered to the appropriate locations promptly.
• Inventory Management: Monitor and report the consumption of cleaning supplies and amenities, ensuring adequate stock levels are maintained to avoid disruptions in service.
• Guest Interaction: Respond promptly and courteously to guest requests or inquiries related to housekeeping services, addressing any concerns with professionalism and discretion.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, including front desk and maintenance, to ensure seamless operations and a cohesive guest experience.
• Adherence to Safety Protocols: Follow all health, safety, and hygiene regulations, including the proper use of cleaning chemicals and equipment, to ensure a safe working environment for both staff and guests.

Qualifications and Skills

• Experience: Prior experience in housekeeping or a similar role within the hospitality industry is highly desirable. Candidates with a proven track record in luxury or high-end establishments will be given preference.
• Attention to Detail: A keen eye for cleanliness and organization, with the ability to identify and address even the smallest discrepancies in room presentation.
• Physical Stamina: The ability to perform physically demanding tasks, such as lifting heavy linens, standing for extended periods, and moving furniture as needed.
