Finance Manager

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Finance Manager to join our leadership team. Reporting directly to the General Manager, you will assume full responsibility for overseeing and optimizing our company’s financial operations. Your role will be pivotal in establishing and maintaining robust financial controls, ensuring compliance with Saudi regulatory frameworks, and delivering accurate and timely financial reporting. In addition to managing a dedicated accounting team, you will collaborate closely with senior leadership to drive informed business decisions, enhance operational efficiency, and support sustainable growth. Key Responsibilities

The Finance Manager will play a central role in the following areas:

• Financial Operations Leadership: Oversee the day-to-day finance and accounting functions, ensuring seamless execution of financial processes and adherence to best practices.
• Month-End and Year-End Close: Lead the preparation and completion of month-end and year-end financial close processes, maintaining accuracy and efficiency in all reporting cycles.
• Management Reporting: Develop and deliver timely, precise management accounts and financial reports that provide actionable insights to support strategic decision-making.
• Financial Integrity: Supervise balance sheet reconciliations and maintain the integrity of the general ledger to ensure reliability in financial data.
• Cash Flow and Treasury Management: Manage cash flow, working capital, and treasury activities to optimize liquidity and financial stability.
• Receivables and Payables Oversight: Monitor accounts receivable and payable processes, including collections and payment approvals, to maintain healthy cash flow and minimize financial risk.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure full compliance with Saudi accounting standards, Value-Added Tax (VAT), Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority (ZATCA) requirements, and all statutory reporting obligations.
• Audit and Regulatory Support: Prepare and present financial information to external auditors and regulatory authorities, facilitating smooth and compliant audit processes.
• Budgeting and Forecasting: Lead the budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes to align financial resources with organizational goals.
• Internal Controls and Governance: Establish and maintain strong internal controls and governance frameworks to mitigate risks and ensure operational integrity.
• Team Leadership and Development: Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
• Strategic Partnership: Collaborate with business leaders to provide commercial financial insights, supporting data-driven decision-making and operational excellence.
• Project Support: Contribute to ad-hoc finance and operational projects, offering expertise to drive efficiency and innovation across the organization.

Qualifications and Experience

To excel in this role, you will possess the following qualifications and attributes:

• Educational Background: A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required. Professional qualifications such as ACCA, ACA, CPA, CA, or CIMA are highly desirable.
• Regulatory Knowledge: A comprehensive understanding of Saudi accounting regulations, VAT, and ZATCA requirements, with a proven track record of implementing compliant financial practices.
• Technical Expertise: Extensive experience in financial reporting, budgeting, treasury management, and working capital optimization.
• Audit and Compliance Experience: Hands-on experience managing audits and statutory reporting, ensuring alignment with regulatory standards.
• Technical Proficiency: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, preferably SAP.
• International Exposure: Prior experience working within an international or multinational organization, with a demonstrated ability to navigate diverse business environments.
• Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical capabilities and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving financial challenges.
• Communication and Stakeholder Management: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
