Key Responsibilities

As a Project Engineer – Structural, your core responsibilities will include:

• Design Management: Oversee and manage structural design processes for Jedco projects, ensuring adherence to technical standards, regulatory requirements, and client specifications.
• Collaboration & Coordination: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including architects, contractors, and other stakeholders, to facilitate seamless project execution and resolve design-related challenges.
• Technical Expertise: Apply advanced structural engineering principles to develop robust, efficient, and sustainable design solutions that meet project objectives and industry best practices.
• Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough reviews of structural designs, calculations, and drawings to ensure accuracy, compliance, and optimal performance.
• Innovation & Problem-Solving: Leverage your technical knowledge and creative thinking to propose innovative solutions that enhance project efficiency, safety, and sustainability.
• Project Delivery Support: Assist in the preparation of project documentation, reports, and presentations to facilitate clear communication with clients and stakeholders.

Ideal Candidate Profile

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented professional with the following qualifications and attributes:

• Educational Background: A Bachelor’s degree in Structural Engineering or a related field. A Master’s degree or professional certification (e.g., PE, P.Eng) is a plus.
• Professional Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience in structural engineering, with a proven track record in design management for infrastructure or building projects.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in structural analysis and design software (e.g., ETABS, SAP2000, AutoCAD, Revit) and a strong understanding of industry codes and standards (e.g., Eurocodes, ACI, AISC).
• Soft Skills: Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving abilities, with a commitment to delivering high-quality results in a collaborative environment.
