Weak current project manager in Dammam

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Weak Current Project Manager to oversee and support the construction, implementation, and maintenance of weak current systems for Keemart’s retail stores and warehouses in the newly established city of Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This role is pivotal in ensuring seamless project execution, from initial design and construction management to post-implementation operations and maintenance. The successful candidate will play a key role in coordinating broadband activation, managing supplier relationships, and providing technical support to maintain optimal IT infrastructure performance across multiple international locations.

Key Responsibilities

• Project Lifecycle Management: Oversee the entire lifecycle of weak current engineering projects, including planning, design, construction management, acceptance, and review, to ensure adherence to project timelines and quality standards.
• Engineering Coordination: Manage engineering quality, progress, and supplier relationships to deliver projects that meet or exceed required standards. Ensure customer satisfaction through meticulous project execution and stakeholder communication.
• IT Infrastructure Operations & Maintenance: Provide ongoing support for IT equipment and IoT hardware, including desktops, printers, CCTV systems, access control, sensors, and other intelligent devices, to ensure uninterrupted business operations in retail warehouses and stores.
• Network Deployment & Troubleshooting: Deploy and configure network equipment such as firewalls, switches, and access points (APs). Diagnose and resolve network disruptions, hardware malfunctions, and IoT-related issues to maintain robust IT infrastructure.
• 24/7 IT Support: Participate in round-the-clock IT operations and maintenance, addressing critical issues such as network outages, terminal malfunctions, and IoT hardware anomalies. Provide remote or on-site support as required to ensure continuous business functionality.
• International Project Support: Assist in the design, implementation, and follow-up of weak current projects across Middle Eastern and Latin American regions, aligning with Keemart’s global business expansion goals.
• Broadband & Resource Coordination: Facilitate broadband activation, manage resistance clearance processes, and coordinate long-term procurement of broadband resources to support business operations.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Communication Engineering, System Integration, or a related field. Minimum of three years of experience as a Weak Current Project Manager or IT Support Professional, with a preference for candidates holding CISCO or Huawei network certifications.
• Technical Proficiency: Strong foundation in weak current design, implementation, and network equipment operations. Ability to diagnose faults, perform desktop IT operations, and maintain IoT hardware systems.
• Language & Cultural Adaptability: Fluency in English is mandatory. Proficiency in Arabic and Chinese is highly desirable. The ability to respect and adapt to local Muslim cultural customs and business practices in Saudi Arabia is essential.
• Work Location & Travel: Willingness to relocate to Saudi Arabia for long-term assignment. Ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed to support project requirements, including occasional 24/7 on-call support.
• Work Schedule & Resilience: Flexibility to accommodate project-driven scheduling, including compensatory time off and responsiveness to urgent fault repairs or project support tasks outside regular working hours.
• Driving & Mobility: Valid Saudi Arabian driver’s license required. Possession of a personal vehicle is preferred to facilitate on-site support and project coordination.
