About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Engineering Leadership & Project Oversight: Lead and direct process/design engineering initiatives, ensuring adherence to industry codes, standards, and best practices. Oversee engineering reviews, resolve complex technical challenges, and guarantee the highest levels of quality and safety in all deliverables.
• Project & Stakeholder Management: Define project scope, objectives, and priorities while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, clients, and stakeholders. Ensure seamless coordination between engineering, operations, and business units to achieve project milestones and deliverables.
• Process Optimization & Innovation: Provide expert technical guidance on engineering design, process optimization, and technology implementation to enhance operational efficiency and sustainability. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to elevate departmental performance and business outcomes.
• Team Leadership & Development: Manage, mentor, and develop a high-performing engineering team, fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and professional growth. Ensure team members are equipped with the skills and resources necessary to excel in their roles.
• Budget & Resource Management: Oversee departmental budgets, resource allocation, and financial planning to optimize efficiency and align with organizational goals. Contribute to broader business strategy and long-term planning efforts.
• Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure all engineering activities comply with regulatory requirements, safety protocols, and environmental standards. Mitigate risks and implement robust quality control measures to safeguard project integrity and organizational reputation.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Education & Professional Credentials: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (or equivalent) with professional registration or chartered status. Advanced degrees or specialized certifications in process engineering are highly desirable.
• Technical Expertise: Minimum of 25 years of progressive experience in oil & gas, hydrocarbon processing, or related industries, with a proven track record in process engineering and technology implementation.
• Leadership & Management: Demonstrated ability to lead large, multidisciplinary engineering teams and manage complex, high-value projects from conception to completion. Experience in budget oversight, strategic planning, and stakeholder engagement is essential.
• Industry Recognition: Recognized as an expert in process engineering, with a deep understanding of industry trends, regulatory frameworks, and emerging technologies.
