Key Responsibilities

The Junior Site Engineer (Fit-Out) will play a pivotal role in the execution of interior and exterior fit-out projects. Your core responsibilities will include:

• Project Execution Support: Assist senior engineers in managing day-to-day site operations, including coordination with contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure timely and high-quality project delivery.
• Technical Compliance: Monitor adherence to architectural, structural, and MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) drawings, specifications, and safety protocols to maintain compliance with industry standards and client requirements.
• Quality Assurance: Conduct regular inspections and quality checks to identify discrepancies, propose corrective actions, and ensure that all workmanship meets the highest standards of craftsmanship and durability.
• Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate records of site activities, including daily reports, progress updates, and non-conformance reports. Communicate effectively with project managers to address issues proactively.
• Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE): Promote a culture of safety on-site by enforcing HSE policies, conducting risk assessments, and ensuring all personnel adhere to safety guidelines to prevent accidents and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Facilitate seamless communication between the design team, contractors, and clients to resolve technical challenges and align project deliverables with client expectations.
• Problem-Solving: Troubleshoot on-site challenges, such as material shortages, design discrepancies, or logistical issues, and propose practical solutions to minimize project delays.

Qualifications & Skills

To excel in this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications and competencies:

• Educational Background: A Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. Fresh graduates with relevant internship experience will also be considered.
• Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with AutoCAD, Revit, or other BIM software is advantageous. Strong understanding of construction methodologies, materials, and fit-out processes is essential.
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Arabic to liaise effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
• Analytical Mindset: Ability to interpret construction drawings, specifications, and technical documents with precision and attention to detail.
• Adaptability: Capacity to thrive in a dynamic work environment, manage multiple priorities, and adapt to evolving project requirements.
