Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Attendant-Pool to join our team at Sheraton in Dammam, Saudi Arabia. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring a clean, safe, and enjoyable poolside experience for our guests while maintaining the highest standards of service and professionalism. The ideal candidate will possess a positive attitude, strong attention to detail, and a commitment to guest satisfaction. Key Responsibilities

The Attendant-Pool will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and safety of the pool area, ensuring a relaxing and enjoyable atmosphere for all guests. Your duties will include:

• Pool Area Maintenance: Lavar, fregar y limpiar meticulosamente el área que rodea la piscina, incluyendo cubiertas, bordes y zonas de descanso, para garantizar un entorno impecable y acogedor.
• Guest Experience Enhancement: Promover un ambiente de diversión y relajación mediante una actitud optimista, entusiasta y servicial, asegurando que los huéspedes disfruten de su tiempo en las instalaciones recreativas.
• Emergency Response: Observar constantemente las actividades en las áreas recreativas y responder de manera adecuada según los procedimientos de operación locales en caso de emergencias, garantizando la seguridad de todos los huéspedes.
• Adherence to Safety Standards: Promover y hacer cumplir las normas y regulaciones de las instalaciones recreativas, identificando situaciones en las que los huéspedes no puedan participar de manera segura en actividades y notificando a un supervisor o gerente de inmediato.
• Guest Assistance: Brindar apoyo a huéspedes lesionados o en situaciones de emergencia hasta la llegada de los servicios médicos, demostrando profesionalismo y compasión.
• Towels Management: Tomar, doblar y apilar las toallas de acuerdo con los procedimientos establecidos por la compañía, asegurando su disponibilidad y organización.
• Safety Reporting: Informar al gerente sobre cualquier accidente, lesión o condición laboral insegura, así como participar en capacitaciones y obtener certificaciones de seguridad según sea necesario.
• Compliance with Policies: Cumplir con todas las políticas y procedimientos de seguridad de la compañía, reportando cualquier problema de mantenimiento, peligro para la seguridad o incidentes. Completar las capacitaciones y certificaciones requeridas sobre seguridad.
• Professional Appearance: Mantener un uniforme impecable y una apariencia personal pulcra y profesional en todo momento, alineada con los estándares de la marca.
• Confidentiality and Security: Proteger la información confidencial de la compañía y salvaguardar sus activos, asegurando la privacidad y seguridad en todo momento.

Physical Requirements

This position requires the ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including:

• Moving, lifting, transporting, pushing, pulling, and placing objects weighing up to 25 pounds (11.25 kg) without assistance.
• Reading and visually verifying information in various formats, such as fine print or labels.
• Inspecting tools, equipment, or machinery for defects or issues.
• Using computers or point-of-sale systems to enter and locate work-related information.
• Demonstrating fine motor skills to grasp, turn, and manipulate objects of varying sizes and weights.
• Reaching above the head, below the knees, bending, twisting at the waist, stooping, and crouching.
• Navigating inclined, uneven, or slippery surfaces, as well as stairs and service ramps.
• Performing other reasonable job-related tasks as assigned by supervisors.

Qualifications

To qualify for this role, candidates must meet the following requirements:

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent GED (General Educational Development) certificate.
• Certifications: Current certification in cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and first aid. Additional certifications or training may be required by local or state agencies.
• Experience: No prior experience is required, though a background in guest services, hospitality, or recreation is beneficial.
• Skills: Strong communication skills, a proactive attitude, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
