Accounting Manager - Al Khobar, KSA

Alfa Laval, a global leader in heat transfer, separation, and fluid handling, is seeking an experienced and innovative Accounting Manager for our Al Khobar, KSA location. This role involves managing and developing the financial accounting function, ensuring all financial accounting, cost accounting, and reporting activities adhere to our company's reporting protocols and procedures.

As the Accounting Manager, you will have full ownership of AL Arabia and AL RHQ financial statements and be responsible for internal control of all finance-related processes. You will ensure our reporting and accounting systems comply with local laws, IFRS, ALMEA, and Group Policies.

• Drive strategic direction and ensure its implementation within the Finance Department.
• Oversee statutory and group accounting, book closing, and monthly reporting for all KSA entities.
• Prepare financial reports, analyze deviations, and manage cash flow.
• Manage payroll, bonus, leave, and EOSB disbursements and coordinate with local and regional HR.
• Establish and maintain accounting control procedures, ensuring compliance with statutory and group rules.
• Forecast costs and financial affairs, manage risks, and ensure compliance with VAT, Income Tax, Payroll taxes, WHT, and Transfer Pricing regulations.
• Coordinate risk and insurance programs, keep ALMEA management updated on legal requirements, and liaise with local banks.
• Prepare and execute financial and tax audits, and manage staff performance, coaching, and training.
• Handle ad hoc tasks, initiatives, and projects as required.

Your Background: We seek a Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance, with professional certification (ACCA, AICPA, CA, or CIMA) and a minimum of 3 years' post-qualification experience. Proven experience working with international accounting standards and local laws is essential. Fluency in English and Arabic is required.
