Position Overview

As a Quality Control Inspector at BSL, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining the highest standards of product excellence by performing rigorous inspections at every stage of the manufacturing process. Your responsibilities will encompass evaluating raw materials, monitoring in-process activities, and conducting final product assessments to ensure full compliance with internal benchmarks, customer specifications, and applicable regulatory mandates. By identifying and addressing deviations promptly, you will contribute to the reliability of our products and foster a culture of continuous improvement within our operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Material Inspection: Verify the quality of incoming raw materials to confirm they meet predefined specifications and industry standards before entering the production cycle.
• In-Process Monitoring: Conduct systematic inspections during manufacturing to detect any deviations from quality parameters, ensuring early intervention and corrective action.
• Final Product Assessment: Perform comprehensive quality checks on finished products to validate adherence to customer requirements, regulatory compliance, and internal quality protocols.
• Documentation and Reporting: Maintain meticulous records of inspection findings, deviations, and corrective measures, ensuring transparency and traceability in quality assurance processes.
• Collaboration and Improvement: Work closely with production teams, engineers, and management to analyze quality trends, recommend enhancements, and implement best practices that elevate overall manufacturing quality.
• Compliance and Standards: Ensure all inspection activities align with ISO/QC standards, industry regulations, and BSL’s internal quality management systems.

Qualifications and Skills

To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and competencies:

• Education: A Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Quality Engineering, or a related field is highly preferred.
• Experience: A minimum of 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience in quality control, with a strong preference for candidates with prior exposure to pipe manufacturing or heavy industrial environments.
• Technical Proficiency: In-depth knowledge of quality inspection methodologies, metrology, and the ability to interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and engineering specifications with precision.
• Tool and System Competency: Proficient in using precision measuring instruments, gauges, and inspection tools. Familiarity with ERP systems, such as SAP, is considered an asset.
• Analytical and Communication Skills: Exceptional attention to detail, strong analytical abilities, and the capacity to document findings clearly and concisely. Fluency in English is essential, while proficiency in Arabic is advantageous.
• Regulatory Awareness: A solid understanding of ISO standards, quality management systems, and industry-specific regulatory requirements to ensure full compliance in all inspection activities.
