Role Overview

As a Project Manager within the Platforms Services & Delivery team, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring projects are executed efficiently, meeting customer expectations while aligning with Thales’ strategic commitments. Your leadership will directly contribute to customer satisfaction, operational excellence, and sustainable business growth. This role demands a strategic mindset, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to navigate complex project landscapes in high-stakes industries.

Key Responsibilities

• Project Delivery & Customer Satisfaction: Drive projects to completion by adhering to deadlines, quality standards, and profitability targets. Lead customer interactions to ensure alignment with their evolving needs and foster long-term partnerships.
• Solution Optimization: Deliver cost-effective, user-friendly solutions that generate tangible value for clients while maintaining operational efficiency.
• Progress Visibility & Resource Management: Provide clear visibility into project status, secure necessary resources, and proactively address challenges. Oversee financial aspects, including cost control and revenue management.
• Risk & Change Management: Identify and mitigate project risks, develop action plans, and manage change requests to adapt to evolving requirements. Explore new business opportunities to enhance project outcomes.
• Stakeholder Communication: Maintain transparent and consistent communication with all stakeholders, including Solution Managers, Project Delivery teams, Technical Leaders, and Support & Maintenance teams.
• Project Governance: Oversee the change management process, including organizing and leading bug reviews to prioritize fixes in alignment with customer priorities. Validate and maintain the Project Execution baseline throughout the project lifecycle.
• Project Lifecycle Management: Conduct critical project milestones, including Kick-off meetings, Reviews, Customer Acceptance, Closure Reviews, and Lessons Learned sessions. Maintain a detailed log of project events to support future claims and reporting.
• Senior Management Reporting: Prepare and present comprehensive dashboards to Senior Management, ensuring transparency on project progress, forecasts, and key performance indicators.

Qualifications & Competencies

• Experience: Minimum of 5 years in project management, with expertise in software development or service operations, including specification, design, and team leadership.
• Certifications: PMI/PMP or PRINCE2 Practitioner certification is mandatory.
• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• Language Proficiency: Fluency in both English and Arabic is essential to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders and clients.
• Core Skills: Demonstrated ability to learn and adapt to Thales’ methodologies, processes, and industry-specific requirements. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and leadership capabilities are critical for success in this role.
