Sustaining Engineer - Manufacturing Unit

Our esteemed client, a leading Oil & Gas company based in Saudi Arabia, seeks a dedicated Sustainability Engineer to join their Manufacturing unit. This role is pivotal in ensuring the longevity and efficiency of our products and processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct non-conformance evaluations and root cause analyses to diagnose and resolve manufacturing and customer-reported issues, investigating component failures or product performance problems.
• Manage engineering change orders (ECOs), modifying designs, CAD models, and assembly procedures for improvements or fixes.
• Identify and qualify replacements for obsolete parts to ensure production continuity, supporting the supply chain.
• Proactively identify opportunities for process improvement and cost reduction through design optimization.
• Maintain and update product documentation, including Bill of Materials (BOMs) and technical specifications.
• Serve as a technical liaison, fostering collaboration between engineering, manufacturing, quality, and procurement teams.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering
• 3-5+ years of hands-on experience in product design, sustaining, or similar roles, with mandatory experience in design engineering and engineering drawings
• Proven problem-solving and decision-making skills, with a strong track record in troubleshooting and root-cause investigation
• Proficiency with CAD software (e.g., CreoSE), PLM systems, and engineering calculations
• Effective communication skills for interacting with suppliers and internal teams
