Payroll Specialist

Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Payroll Specialist to join our dynamic team and provide critical support to our construction and project sites located in Riyadh. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely processing of payroll for both site-based and office-based employees, while maintaining strict adherence to labor regulations and company policies. The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of three years of hands-on experience in payroll processing, with a strong background in construction, contracting, or project-based industries.

Key Responsibilities

The Payroll Specialist will play a central role in managing all aspects of payroll operations, including:

• Monthly Payroll Processing: Preparing and processing monthly payroll cycles for site and office employees with precision and efficiency, ensuring all payments are made accurately and within established deadlines.
• Data Verification and Validation: Reviewing and verifying attendance records, overtime calculations, shift differentials, field allowances, and other site-specific components to ensure compliance with labor regulations and company policies.
• Collaboration with Project Teams: Working closely with project managers and site supervisors to gather and validate payroll-related data, including attendance submissions and employee entitlements, to facilitate seamless payroll processing.
• Record Maintenance and Documentation: Updating and maintaining comprehensive employee records, ensuring all payroll documentation is accurate, organized, and readily accessible for audits or inquiries.
• Employee Support and Communication: Addressing and resolving employee inquiries related to salaries, deductions, allowances, and end-of-service benefits in a professional and timely manner.
• Compliance and Reporting: Ensuring full compliance with local labor laws, regulatory requirements, and company policies, including accurate calculation and processing of end-of-service benefits and other employee entitlements.

Qualifications and Skills

To excel in this role, candidates must meet the following requirements:

• Experience: A minimum of three years of proven experience in payroll processing, with a strong preference for candidates with prior experience in construction, contracting, or project-based environments.
• Technical Knowledge: A solid understanding of site-based payroll components, including field allowances, overtime calculations, shift differentials, and attendance tracking systems.
• Regulatory Awareness: In-depth knowledge of labor regulations, end-of-service calculations, and employee entitlements, with the ability to apply this knowledge to ensure compliance in all payroll processes.
• Analytical and Organizational Skills: Exceptional attention to detail, strong analytical abilities, and the capacity to manage large volumes of data efficiently while maintaining high levels of accuracy.
• Communication and Collaboration: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, including project managers, HR personnel, and senior leadership.
