Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Thru Tubing Specialist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of seven years of hands-on experience in the oil and gas industry, with a proven track record of executing complex downhole operations independently and without supervision. This role is critical to our field operations, requiring expertise in hydraulic actuated thru tubing tools and multi-lateral downhole tools deployed via Coiled Tubing. Experience in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA), particularly with Saudi Aramco, is highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

The Thru Tubing Specialist will be responsible for the planning, execution, and optimization of thru tubing interventions and multi-lateral well interventions. Your expertise will ensure the safe and efficient deployment of hydraulic actuated tools, as well as the operation of multi-lateral downhole tools via Coiled Tubing. Your role will involve:

• Tool Operation and Deployment: Proficiently operate and deploy hydraulic actuated thru tubing tools and multi-lateral downhole tools, ensuring adherence to operational protocols and safety standards.
• Field Execution: Lead and execute thru tubing interventions independently, demonstrating the ability to troubleshoot and resolve operational challenges in real-time without direct supervision.
• Collaboration and Coordination: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineers, supervisors, and field personnel, to ensure seamless execution of well interventions and alignment with project objectives.
• Safety and Compliance: Uphold the highest safety standards, ensuring compliance with industry regulations, company policies, and local laws, particularly in high-risk environments such as those encountered in KSA operations.
• Technical Support and Troubleshooting: Provide technical expertise to identify and resolve operational issues, optimizing tool performance and minimizing downtime.
• Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of operations, including tool performance, intervention outcomes, and any deviations from planned procedures. Prepare detailed reports for stakeholders and management.

Qualifications and Experience

To qualify for this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:

• Experience: Minimum of seven years of relevant experience in thru tubing interventions, with a proven ability to operate hydraulic actuated tools and multi-lateral downhole tools via Coiled Tubing.
• Independence: Demonstrated capability to execute operations without direct supervision, showcasing problem-solving skills and adaptability in dynamic field environments.
• Regional Experience: Preference will be given to candidates with experience working in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, particularly with Saudi Aramco, due to the unique operational and regulatory landscape in the region.
• Technical Proficiency: Strong understanding of downhole tools, hydraulic systems, and Coiled Tubing operations, with the ability to interpret technical data and make informed decisions.
• Safety Consciousness: Commitment to safety protocols, with a proactive approach to identifying and mitigating risks in the field.
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.

Work Environment and Travel

The Thru Tubing Specialist will be required to work in challenging field environments, often in remote locations. Travel to operational sites, including international assignments, is expected. The role demands physical stamina, adaptability to varying weather conditions, and the ability to work extended hours as needed to meet operational deadlines.
