Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced O&G Resident Engineer – AI Solutions to serve as a pivotal link between cutting-edge AI technologies and real-world hydraulic fracturing and completions operations. This role demands a unique blend of deep field operational expertise, customer engagement acumen, and technical proficiency in digital solution delivery. You will be responsible for ensuring that AI-driven insights are effectively translated into tangible performance improvements for our clients in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (Dammam). Acting as a trusted advisor, you will collaborate closely with engineering, operations, and technical teams to foster the adoption, optimization, and sustained value delivery of Intelie’s real-time analytics platform.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Engagement & Value Delivery

• Act as the primary technical advisor for clients, ensuring the successful adoption and integration of AI-powered solutions within hydraulic fracturing and completions operations.
• Build and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with field engineers, operations managers, and technical stakeholders to align solutions with operational objectives.
• Translate complex customer challenges into data-driven use cases and actionable solutions, driving measurable outcomes such as efficiency gains, cost reduction, and risk mitigation.

Operational SME (Frac & Completions)

• Leverage hands-on expertise in hydraulic fracturing and completions to contextualize data insights and ensure alignment with field conditions, KPIs, and industry best practices.
• Support the configuration, tuning, and validation of analytics models based on real-world operational realities and customer-specific requirements.
• Serve as a trusted intermediary, bridging domain knowledge with digital solutions to enhance decision-making processes.

AI & Digital Solution Enablement

• Facilitate the deployment and continuous improvement of AI-driven applications and real-time analytics within customer environments.
• Collaborate with product and data science teams to refine models, alerts, and workflows, ensuring they deliver maximum operational value.
• Identify opportunities to expand the platform’s footprint within accounts and propose innovative use cases to enhance platform capabilities.
• Provide critical feedback loops to internal teams to drive product enhancements and usability improvements.

Field Integration & Change Management

• Lead the adoption of new technologies within customer workflows, promoting a shift from traditional monitoring to AI-assisted decision-making.
• Develop and deliver training programs for end users, fostering best practices for data-driven operations and ensuring smooth technology integration.
• Act as a change agent, guiding teams through the transition and addressing adoption challenges with empathy and expertise.

Continuous Improvement & Innovation

• Identify emerging business opportunities based on operational gaps, market trends, and customer feedback.
• Contribute to the development of playbooks, use cases, and repeatable deployment strategies to streamline solution delivery.
• Provide invaluable field insights, competitive intelligence, and market trends to support internal strategic initiatives.

Qualifications & Skills

Education, Knowledge, and Hard Skills

• Domain Expertise: Proven experience in hydraulic fracturing and completions operations, either in field roles or engineering capacities.
• Customer-Facing Experience: Demonstrated success in technical support, field engineering, consulting, or similar roles that require direct interaction with clients.
• Operational Insight: In-depth understanding of operational KPIs, workflows, and challenges specific to the oil & gas sector.
• Digital Technology Proficiency: Hands-on experience with real-time data systems, monitoring technologies, or digital oilfield solutions.
• Communication Excellence: Exceptional ability to articulate technical concepts in business terms and translate complex ideas into actionable insights for diverse stakeholders.
• Language Proficiency: Fluent in English, with Arabic language skills considered a valuable asset.
