Accountant - Financial Management & Reporting

The Accountant role involves a broad range of financial management tasks, including corporate accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, and internal control development. This position requires a strong analytical mindset, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.

• Provide financial information to management through data analysis and reporting.
• Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and other reports.
• Develop and implement internal control policies and procedures to ensure financial risk management.
• Guide and support accounting clerical staff, answering questions and coordinating activities.
• Reconcile financial discrepancies and maintain financial security through internal controls and database backups.
• Prepare payments by verifying documentation and requesting disbursements.
• Comply with federal, state, and local financial legal requirements, and advise management on necessary actions.
• Prepare special financial reports, analyzing trends and summarizing account information.
• Maintain customer confidence by ensuring the confidentiality of financial information.
