Position Overview

We are currently seeking a meticulous and experienced Accountant to join our finance team. In this pivotal role, you will play a critical part in maintaining the integrity of our financial operations by ensuring accurate record-keeping, managing daily accounting transactions, and upholding compliance with local tax and financial regulations. Your contributions will directly support the financial health and strategic decision-making of our organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Financial Records Management: Prepare and maintain precise daily financial records and accounting transactions to ensure the integrity of our financial data.
• Core Accounting Operations:
  • Process accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Conduct regular bank reconciliations to identify and resolve discrepancies promptly.
• Financial Reporting: Assist in the timely preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports to support management and stakeholder decision-making.
• Expense Control & Compliance: Monitor company expenditures rigorously, ensuring adherence to internal policies and international accounting standards (IFRS) to maintain financial discipline.
• Budgeting & Financial Analysis: Provide essential support to management in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to drive strategic planning and resource allocation.
• Documentation & Record-Keeping: Maintain meticulously organized, secure, and accessible documentation of all financial records, invoices, and transactions in compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Audit & Regulatory Compliance: Coordinate seamlessly with internal departments and external auditors during annual reviews to ensure transparency and compliance with financial regulations.
• Taxation & VAT Management: Assist with local tax compliance, including VAT filing, adherence to ZATCA regulations, and preparation of other regulatory reports to mitigate risks and ensure legal compliance.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related field from an accredited institution.
• Professional Experience: Minimum of 2 to 5 years of hands-on experience in accounting or corporate finance, with a proven track record of delivering accurate and timely financial outcomes.
• Technical Expertise:
  • Comprehensive understanding of general accounting principles, financial reporting frameworks, and local tax regulations.
  • Familiarity with Saudi Arabia’s financial and regulatory environment is highly advantageous.
• Technical Proficiency: Exceptional skills in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions such as VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, and data analysis tools. Hands-on experience with accounting software and ERP systems is required.
• Soft Skills: Strong analytical acumen, exceptional organizational abilities, effective time-management, and proactive problem-solving skills to navigate complex financial scenarios.
• Language Proficiency: Fluent command of English, both written and spoken, to facilitate clear communication with stakeholders and ensure accurate documentation.
