Mobco Group, a leading contracting company based in Khobar, is currently seeking a highly organized and experienced Storekeeper to join our dynamic project team. This role is critical to ensuring the seamless flow of materials, tools, and equipment across our construction sites, supporting uninterrupted project execution and operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in warehouse management within the construction industry, with a proven ability to maintain meticulous inventory control and optimize material handling processes.

Key Responsibilities

The Storekeeper will play a pivotal role in managing the receipt, storage, issuance, and documentation of materials, ensuring that all processes adhere to company standards and project requirements. The primary responsibilities include:

• Material Receipt and Inspection: Receive incoming materials, tools, and equipment, conducting thorough inspections to verify quantity, quality, and compliance with purchase orders. Accurately record all receipts in the inventory management system.
• Inventory Control and Issuance: Maintain precise inventory records, including stock balances and material movements. Issue construction materials in strict accordance with approved requisitions, ensuring traceability and accountability.
• Stock Monitoring and Replenishment: Continuously monitor stock levels and collaborate closely with the Procurement team to initiate timely replenishment of materials, preventing shortages that could disrupt project timelines.
• Storage and Preservation: Ensure materials are stored in designated areas with proper labeling, protection, and organization to minimize damage, loss, or deterioration. Adhere to safety and housekeeping standards to maintain a secure and efficient warehouse environment.
• Inventory Audits and Reconciliation: Conduct periodic physical inventory counts and perform stock reconciliations to identify discrepancies. Report any damaged, obsolete, or slow-moving items to management for resolution.
• Documentation and Reporting: Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly inventory reports, including material movement summaries. Maintain comprehensive documentation for all transactions, including receipts, issues, transfers, and returns.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Site Engineers, Procurement, Logistics, and other stakeholders to align material availability with project demands. Provide timely updates on inventory status and support internal and external audits as required.
• Compliance and Safety: Ensure adherence to company policies, industry regulations, and safety protocols within the warehouse. Promote a culture of accountability and continuous improvement in inventory management practices.

Qualifications and Experience

To excel in this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:

• Education: A Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred. Equivalent experience in a relevant discipline may also be considered.
• Experience: Minimum of 5 to 10 years of hands-on experience as a Storekeeper, with a strong preference for candidates who have worked in construction or contracting environments. Direct experience managing construction site warehouses and handling construction materials, tools, and equipment is essential.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with inventory management software are required. Familiarity with ERP systems or warehouse management tools is a plus.
• Personal Attributes: The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication and teamwork capabilities are also critical to success in this role.
• Availability: Candidates must be able to join immediately or within a short notice period to support ongoing project demands.
