Winder-1 - Generator Rewinding and Repair Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Winder-1 to join our team, specializing in the rewinding and repair of generator rotors and stators. This role involves a variety of tasks, from the removal of old windings to the final electrical testing of generators, ensuring all work is carried out in compliance with GE's Environmental-, Health & Safety- as well as Ethic & Compliance-rules.

• Remove and replace windings on generator rotors and stators.
• Perform repairs on generator winding and insulation systems, both in-house and on-site.
• Conduct hardware and consumables inspections, along with standard electrical testing during rewinding activities.
• Carry out final visual inspections and electrical testing of generators.
• Maintain tools and equipment in the service workshop.
• Prepare and maintain regular periodic inspections for workshop tools and components.
• Support the spin pit team as required and perform other assigned tasks.

To excel in this role, you should have a minimum of three years' experience in winding turbogenerators over 25 MW, along with a strong understanding of winding processes and operating induction heating machines. Proficiency in common IT office tools, dimensional measurements, and mechanical assembly activities related to generators is also essential. Excellent communication skills, accuracy, and the ability to work independently and in a team are key to success in this position.
