Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Machine Operator to join our team at SGN’s state-of-the-art facility in Dammam. This is a full-time, on-site role that plays a critical part in ensuring the seamless operation of our nonwoven production machinery. The Machine Operator will be responsible for the setup, operation, and monitoring of advanced production equipment to maintain safe, efficient, and uninterrupted manufacturing processes. Your daily responsibilities will include conducting thorough inspections, fine-tuning machine settings, loading raw materials, and verifying product quality against stringent standards. Additionally, you will perform routine cleaning, execute minor troubleshooting tasks, and liaise with maintenance teams to resolve equipment-related issues promptly. This role demands strict adherence to safety protocols, quality guidelines, and production procedures, as well as meticulous record-keeping and collaboration with supervisors and cross-functional teams to achieve production targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Machine Setup and Operation: Configure and operate nonwoven production machinery, ensuring optimal performance and alignment with production schedules.
- Quality Assurance: Conduct routine quality checks, visual inspections, and measurements to verify product consistency and compliance with specifications.
- Material Handling: Load raw materials into machinery, monitor inventory levels, and ensure timely replenishment to avoid production delays.
- Troubleshooting and Maintenance Support: Identify minor equipment issues, perform basic adjustments, and coordinate with maintenance teams to address technical challenges and minimize downtime.
- Safety and Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols, health regulations, and environmental policies to maintain a secure and compliant workplace.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate production logs, track machine performance metrics, and report any deviations or anomalies to supervisors.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with shift leaders, quality control staff, and maintenance personnel to optimize production efficiency and resolve operational challenges.
- Physical Requirements: Stand for extended periods, lift and move materials as needed, and perform routine cleaning and maintenance tasks to ensure a clean and orderly workspace.
Qualifications and Skills
To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and attributes:
- Experience: Prior experience operating industrial or manufacturing machinery, preferably in nonwoven, textile, or similar continuous production environments.
