Portfolio Sales Professional - Retrofit Business

We are seeking a dynamic Sales Engineer to drive growth for our LV induction motor retrofit and replacement opportunities across key industrial sectors. This role focuses on developing new business, expanding strategic accounts, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver practical, technically sound, and commercially competitive customer solutions.

• Develop and execute sales plans to achieve revenue, market-share, and profitability targets.
• Identify, qualify, and secure retrofit opportunities in industries such as oil & gas, power, water, mining, manufacturing, and infrastructure.
• Build and maintain a strong opportunity pipeline through EPCs, OEMs, distributors, consultants, and end-users.
• Prepare technical-commercial proposals, negotiate terms, and close high-value contracts.
• Manage and grow strategic key accounts through consultative selling and tailored solutions.
• Monitor competitor activities, industry trends, and provide regular market feedback and sales forecasts.
• Maintain accurate forecasting, opportunity tracking, and sales reporting in CRM tools.

To succeed in this role, you should have:

• A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 2-4 years of sales experience in industrial electrical equipment, preferably with at least 2 years in motors, drives, or rotating machines.
• Proven experience managing complex sales cycles, large projects, and high-value contracts.
• A strong network with EPC contractors, OEMs, distributors, consultants, and industrial end-users.
• Basic understanding of electrical design, application, and performance.
• Strong commercial acumen in pricing, proposal preparation, contract negotiation, and financial analysis.
