General Project Manager

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced General Project Manager to oversee and drive the operational success of our organization. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for ensuring the seamless execution of business activities while aligning all departments with the company’s strategic objectives. Reporting directly to senior leadership, you will play a critical role in maintaining operational efficiency, financial accountability, and compliance with industry standards. This position is ideal for a seasoned professional with a strong background in civil engineering and project management, capable of leading cross-functional teams and optimizing business processes.

Key Responsibilities

The General Project Manager will be entrusted with the following core responsibilities:

• Departmental Leadership: Oversee and coordinate all company departments, including Management, Human Resources, Procurement, IT, Safety, Technical, Operations, Project Control, Finance, MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing), and Logistics, to ensure cohesive and efficient operations.
• Operational Excellence: Drive productivity and efficiency across all projects, both internally and externally, by implementing best practices and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
• Financial Management: Develop, monitor, and manage financial budgets to ensure alignment with company goals, while identifying cost-saving opportunities and optimizing resource allocation.
• Process Optimization: Continuously evaluate and enhance company processes to improve effectiveness, scalability, and sustainability over time.
• Safety and Compliance: Enforce and uphold strict safety regulations and protocols at all project sites to ensure a secure working environment and full compliance with local and international standards.
• Strategic Implementation: Develop and execute innovative strategies to enhance the company’s market position, operational efficiency, and long-term success.

Qualifications and Skills

To excel in this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications and competencies:

• Education: A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering, Management, or a related field from an accredited institution.
• Professional Experience: A minimum of 10 years of hands-on experience in civil engineering and the contracting industry, with a proven track record in project management and leadership.

Work Environment
