Role Overview
As a Logistics Operations Coordinator Intern under the Tamheer program in Jeddah, you will play a pivotal role in supporting daily logistics and warehouse operations while gaining invaluable hands-on experience in a global healthcare environment. This internship offers a unique opportunity to contribute to operational excellence, enhance inventory accuracy, and streamline processes that directly impact patient care. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including logistics, warehouse, and customer care, to develop foundational skills in supply chain operations and drive continuous improvement initiatives. Key Responsibilities
- Operational Coordination: Manage and coordinate daily operational workflows, ensuring seamless logistics activities and adherence to established processes.
- Inventory Management: Oversee stock movements, inventory transactions, and SAP adjustments to maintain accurate and up-to-date records.
- System Reconciliation: Monitor and resolve discrepancies between SAP and warehouse management systems (WMS) to ensure data integrity and operational efficiency.
- Quality Assurance: Track quality notifications (QNs), quarantines, damages, and recalls, ensuring precise documentation and compliance with regulatory standards.
- Cycle Counting & Reporting: Support cycle counts and inventory accuracy tracking, preparing detailed reports to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Shipment Coordination: Create stock transport orders (STOs) and coordinate inter-distribution center shipments to optimize supply chain performance.
- Documentation & Compliance: Maintain write-off and write-on records, and support scrap processes to ensure full compliance with internal and external guidelines.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with warehouse, logistics, and customer care teams to foster a collaborative environment and drive operational success.
- Reporting & Analysis: Maintain operational trackers and prepare daily and weekly reports to monitor performance and support data-driven decision-making.
Qualifications
To excel in this role, you must meet the following requirements:
- Hold a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- Be eligible for the Tamheer program and registered in TAQAT.
- Not currently registered in GOSI and have no prior participation in the Tamheer program.
- Demonstrate fluency in English, both written and spoken, with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Exhibit a proactive mindset with a strong willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
- Show a passion for contributing to improvements that positively impact patient lives and healthcare outcomes.
While not mandatory, preferred qualifications include a basic understanding of supply chain or logistics operations and familiarity with SAP or similar enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.
