Join Valmet Flow Control as a Project Quotation Engineer in Dammam, Saudi Arabia

As a Project Quotation Engineer, you'll be at the heart of our sales process, translating customer requirements into competitive, high-quality technical and commercial proposals. You'll drive winning proposals by leading the technical preparation of project quotations, including sizing, selection, and costing of control valves and field equipment.

In this role, you'll act as a key technical partner to our sales team, supporting bid strategy, clarifying requirements, and positioning the best solution for our customers. You'll bridge the technical and commercial worlds by contributing to pricing discussions, commercial alignment, and value-based proposal development.

To ensure excellence in delivery, you'll own the quality, accuracy, and timeliness of quotations and technical documentation. You'll collaborate across global teams and diverse stakeholders, and engage with customers by supporting bid clarifications and participating in technical discussions and negotiations.

• Requirements:
• Degree in Instrumentation, Mechanical, Chemical Engineering, or related process discipline.
• 6 years of experience in the valve industry, with expertise in control valve sizing and selection.
• Expertise in handling Middle East projects and strong familiarity with Saudi Aramco and SABIC requirements.
• Understanding of process industries such as Oil & Gas, Pulp & Paper, or Mining.
• Knowledge of instrumentation systems (valves, field instruments, installation, field engineering) is a strong advantage.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken); Arabic is a plus.
• Willingness to travel about 20% of your working time.
• Systematic and assertive character, with the ability to manage complex situations under pressure.
• Team-player who is open-minded and willing to share knowledge with others.
