Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Field Services Engineer to join our dynamic team. The Field Services Engineer will be responsible for executing a wide range of maintenance activities, including preventive and corrective services, installations, and technical support. Key Responsibilities

The Field Services Engineer will be tasked with the following core responsibilities:

• On-Site Maintenance and Repairs: Perform all necessary on-site maintenance, repairs, and service activities, including life extension tasks, inspections, and critical repairs. This encompasses on-site machining, non-destructive testing, blade services, winding repairs, critical welding, and generator diagnostics.
• Technical Expertise Development: Cultivate a deep understanding of a specific technical discipline, leveraging prior experience and professional training to implement effective policies and strategies that enhance operational efficiency.
• Operational Insight and Collaboration: Demonstrate a comprehensive grasp of key operational factors and how your team’s work integrates with other departments to achieve organizational goals. This role requires the ability to analyze and interpret technical data to inform decision-making.
• Problem-Solving and Innovation: Exercise sound judgment to propose viable solutions beyond predefined parameters, drawing on past experience and analytical skills to resolve complex issues. Utilize internal resources and cross-functional teams to make informed decisions and drive continuous improvement.
• Leadership and Mentorship: Serve as a trusted advisor to team members, providing informal guidance and support to new hires. Depending on the organizational structure, this role may involve leading small teams, hiring talent, and fostering professional growth within the team.

Qualifications and Skills

To qualify for this role, candidates must meet the following requirements:

• Education:
  • For roles outside the United States: A bachelor’s degree from an accredited university (or equivalent) in a relevant technical field, supplemented by significant hands-on experience in digital audio workstation operations.
  • For roles in the United States: A bachelor’s degree from an accredited university (or a high school diploma/GED with at least four years of relevant experience).
• Technical Proficiency: Demonstrated expertise in on-site maintenance, repair techniques, and technical diagnostics. Familiarity with industry-standard tools and equipment is essential.
• Communication and Leadership: Exceptional oral and written communication skills, coupled with strong interpersonal abilities. The ability to influence stakeholders and lead small teams is critical to success in this role.
• Analytical and Organizational Skills: Proven capacity to analyze complex technical issues, organize workflows efficiently, and manage multiple priorities without compromising quality.
• Problem-Solving Aptitude: A proactive approach to identifying issues and implementing effective solutions, with a focus on continuous improvement and operational excellence.
