Your Role in the Food & Water Services Team

Join our dynamic Food & Water Services team and become a key contributor to our mission of delivering exceptional lifecycle service solutions. In this role, you will collaborate closely with customers and internal stakeholders to drive growth through strategic initiatives such as spare parts provision, system upgrades, service agreements, and tailored technical solutions. Your expertise will be instrumental in enhancing customer satisfaction, operational efficiency, and long-term value creation for our clients across the Middle East region.

Key Responsibilities

• Project Estimation & Proposal Development: Prepare accurate, project-specific cost estimates by engaging with local service providers and contractors. Conduct thorough market research to secure competitive quotations, negotiate favorable terms, and develop proposals that balance technical feasibility with commercial viability, ensuring optimal profitability for Alfa Laval.
• Project Management & Coordination: Oversee and manage customer projects across the Middle East, maintaining regular communication through site visits, meetings, and collaboration with customer project teams. Act as a liaison between service execution teams, subcontractors, sales departments, and clients to ensure seamless project execution.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Participate actively in customer meetings, site visits, and project discussions to align expectations, address challenges, and support the successful delivery of proposals and executed projects.
• Project Monitoring & Control: Track project progress against approved plans, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards. Implement proactive measures to mitigate risks, avoid cost overruns, and minimize deviations from project objectives.
• Resource & Subcontractor Management: Identify, organize, and allocate the necessary resources to execute projects efficiently. Manage subcontractors to ensure their seamless integration into project workflows while upholding Alfa Laval’s high standards for service quality and safety.
• On-Site Supervision & Execution: Lead on-site activities, including project execution, commissioning, and start-up, in collaboration with client representatives. Ensure strict compliance with project specifications, safety protocols, and quality benchmarks throughout the project lifecycle.

Preferred Qualifications & Skills

• Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field, complemented by 4 to 8 years of relevant experience in project engineering, field execution, commissioning, or industrial projects.
• Technical & Commercial Acumen: Strong technical expertise combined with commercial awareness, negotiation skills, and problem-solving abilities to develop and deliver competitive solutions.
• Language Proficiency: Fluency in Italian is highly preferred, with additional proficiency in English being essential for effective communication across diverse stakeholders.
• Regional Experience: Prior experience working with customers and contractors in the Middle East region is advantageous, demonstrating an understanding of regional market dynamics and operational challenges.
• Adaptability & Resilience: Willingness to travel extensively and work on-site as required, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment where customer demands are high and solutions must be delivered promptly.
