• Operational Excellence: Oversee daily procurement and supply chain activities, including demand forecasting, inventory control, and logistics coordination, to minimize disruptions, reduce lead times, and enhance overall operational agility.
• Risk Management & Compliance: Identify, assess, and mitigate supply chain risks, including geopolitical, economic, and operational vulnerabilities, while ensuring adherence to industry regulations, ethical sourcing practices, and corporate governance policies.
• Performance Analytics & Reporting: Leverage advanced data analytics and supply chain management systems to monitor KPIs, track performance trends, and generate actionable insights for executive decision-making, including cost savings, efficiency gains, and sustainability metrics.
• Innovation & Digital Transformation: Champion the adoption of cutting-edge technologies, such as AI-driven demand planning tools, blockchain for supplier transparency, and automation in procurement processes, to drive efficiency and future-proof the supply chain.
• Sustainability & Corporate Responsibility: Integrate sustainable procurement practices into the supply chain, prioritizing eco-friendly materials, ethical labor practices, and carbon footprint reduction initiatives to align with the organization’s ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) commitments.

Qualifications & Experience

To excel in this role, candidates must possess a robust blend of professional experience, technical expertise, and leadership acumen. The ideal candidate will have:

• Proven Leadership: A minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in procurement, supply chain management, or related fields, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership or executive role, demonstrating a track record of driving transformative change and operational excellence.
• Strategic Sourcing & Cost Optimization: A demonstrated ability to develop and execute strategic sourcing initiatives that deliver measurable cost savings, supply chain resilience, and value-added partnerships without compromising quality or service levels.
• Technical Proficiency: Hands-on experience with procurement software (e.g., SAP Ariba, Coupa), supply chain management systems (e.g., Oracle SCM, Kinaxis), and advanced analytics tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) to analyze data, forecast demand, and optimize inventory.
• Regulatory & Compliance Knowledge: A thorough understanding of global procurement regulations, trade compliance, and industry-specific standards (e.g., ISO, ITAR, GDP) to ensure ethical and legally compliant sourcing practices.
• Negotiation & Contract Management: Exceptional negotiation skills with a proven ability to secure favorable terms, manage contract lifecycles, and resolve disputes while maintaining strong supplier relationships.
• Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills: A data-driven mindset with the ability to interpret complex datasets, identify trends, and implement innovative solutions to address supply chain challenges, such as bottlenecks, excess inventory, or supplier disruptions.
