COST ACCOUNTANT

The Cost Accountant is a pivotal role responsible for managing and analyzing costs to support strategic decision-making and drive profitability within our organization. This role requires a strong understanding of the non-profit (NFP) business environment, coupled with exceptional communication skills and data analysis capabilities.

• Monitor, collect, and analyze data from multiple sources to prepare accurate reports, supporting decision-making across the NFP.
• Demonstrate proficiency in using national and foreign languages, both spoken and written, to effectively communicate with diverse stakeholders.
• Manage work and project activities efficiently, achieving short- and long-term objectives through strong organizational and planning skills.
• Analyze changes in product design, raw materials, manufacturing methods, or services to determine their effects on costs and recommend cost efficiencies.
• Prepare costing sheets for foreign purchase orders and manage insurance files (PAR) and related monthly declarations.
• Review costs, take corrective actions, and analyze overall plant efficiency to ensure profitability.
• Perform monthly closing activities, monitor inventory transactions, and prepare journal entries as required.
• Lead inventory review processes, develop financial and operational reports, and provide insights on pricing and profitability factors to support strategic decision-making.
• Initiate, plan, execute, monitor, and close projects effectively, developing and implementing project metrics and measurement systems.
