Role Overview

We are partnering with a leading Human Resources company to identify a dynamic and visionary Finance Director who will play a pivotal role in shaping the financial future of the organization. In this senior leadership position, you will be responsible for driving the company’s financial strategy, ensuring robust financial governance, and fostering sustainable growth in alignment with corporate objectives. Key Responsibilities

• Strategic Financial Leadership: Develop, implement, and oversee the execution of a comprehensive financial strategy that aligns with the company’s long-term goals, ensuring financial stability and growth.
• Financial Planning & Analysis: Lead the annual budgeting process, cash flow management, and financial forecasting to ensure optimal resource allocation and operational efficiency. Conduct thorough risk assessments to mitigate financial vulnerabilities.
• Regulatory Compliance & Governance: Ensure strict adherence to financial regulations, accounting standards (e.g., GAAP, IFRS), and corporate policies. Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements, management reports, and final accounts in accordance with regulatory requirements.
• Performance Monitoring & Reporting: Track financial performance against key metrics, identify trends, and provide actionable insights to senior leadership. Prepare detailed financial reports that support data-driven decision-making and strategic initiatives.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with business units, including HR, operations, and executive leadership, to assess financial requirements, evaluate investment opportunities, and optimize resource allocation for maximum efficiency and profitability.
• Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the primary liaison between the finance team and external stakeholders, including auditors, investors, and regulatory bodies. Present financial insights and recommendations to the board and executive leadership to guide critical business decisions.

Qualifications & Experience

To excel in this role, you must possess a strong academic foundation and extensive professional experience in finance, with a proven track record in leadership and strategic financial management. The ideal candidate will have:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field from an accredited institution.
• A professional certification such as CPA (Certified Public Accountant), CMA (Certified Management Accountant), ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants), or an equivalent qualification, which is highly preferred.
• A minimum of 10 years of progressive finance experience, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership or director-level role, demonstrating a deep understanding of financial strategy and governance.
• Prior experience within a publicly listed company, where you have successfully navigated complex financial landscapes, regulatory environments, and stakeholder expectations.
• Expertise in financial reporting, budgeting, risk management, and corporate governance, with a keen ability to translate financial data into strategic business insights.
• Exceptional analytical, communication, and leadership skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and influence key stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
