Key Responsibilities

The Warehouse Manager will be responsible for a wide range of critical functions, including:

• Operational Leadership: Direct and supervise warehouse staff, including hiring, training, and performance management to ensure a motivated and productive team.
• Inventory Management: Oversee accurate receiving, storing, and dispatching of goods, implementing robust inventory control systems to minimize discrepancies and losses.
• Process Optimization: Identify and implement efficiency improvements in warehouse workflows, including layout design, equipment utilization, and automation technologies to enhance productivity.
• Safety and Compliance: Enforce strict adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations, conducting regular audits and risk assessments to maintain a secure workplace.
• Logistics Coordination: Collaborate with transportation and procurement teams to ensure timely delivery of goods, optimizing shipping schedules and reducing lead times.
• Technology Integration: Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) and other digital tools to track inventory, generate reports, and analyze performance metrics for data-driven decision-making.
• Budget Management: Monitor operational expenses, negotiate with suppliers, and implement cost-saving initiatives without compromising quality or service levels.
• Customer Service: Act as a liaison between the warehouse and other departments to resolve issues promptly and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.

Qualifications and Skills

To excel in this role, candidates must meet the following requirements:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field. Relevant certifications (e.g., CPIM, CSCP) are highly desirable.
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of progressive warehouse management experience, with a focus on leadership and operational excellence in a fast-paced environment.
• Technical Proficiency: Strong working knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS), enterprise resource planning (ERP) software, and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Leadership Abilities: Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and develop a diverse team, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
