HSE Supervisor

Role Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced HSE Supervisor to join our team at Projects Pioneers Contracting Company, based in Dammam. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of health, safety, and environmental compliance across all project sites. Your expertise will be instrumental in fostering a culture of safety, mitigating risks, and upholding regulatory requirements to protect our workforce and the environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Safety Compliance: Monitor and enforce adherence to local and international HSE regulations, company policies, and industry best practices to maintain a safe working environment.
• Risk Assessment: Conduct comprehensive risk assessments and hazard identifications to proactively address potential threats before they escalate into incidents.
• Training and Awareness: Develop and deliver HSE training programs to enhance employee awareness, ensuring all personnel are equipped with the knowledge to work safely and responsibly.
• Incident Investigation: Lead thorough investigations into safety incidents, near-misses, or environmental violations, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
• Inspections and Audits: Perform regular site inspections and audits to verify compliance with HSE standards, documenting findings and recommending improvements where necessary.
• Emergency Preparedness: Collaborate with emergency response teams to establish and maintain robust emergency preparedness plans, including drills and response protocols.
• Reporting and Documentation: Prepare detailed HSE reports, metrics, and performance indicators to track progress and communicate findings to senior management and stakeholders.
• Environmental Stewardship: Oversee environmental management initiatives, ensuring compliance with sustainability goals and minimizing the company’s ecological footprint.

Qualifications and Experience

To excel in this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications and attributes:

• A bachelor’s degree in Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE), Occupational Health and Safety, or a related field.
• A minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in HSE supervision, preferably within the construction, oil and gas, or industrial sectors.
• Proficiency in HSE management systems, such as ISO 45001, ISO 14001, or OSHA standards, with a strong understanding of regulatory frameworks.
• Certifications in NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent are highly desirable.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
• Analytical mindset with a keen attention to detail, enabling effective problem-solving and decision-making.
• Proficiency in HSE software and tools for reporting, risk assessment, and compliance tracking.
