Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Calibration Engineer to join our dynamic team in Dammam. This full-time, on-site role is pivotal in maintaining the integrity of our calibration services, ensuring that all industrial instruments and equipment meet stringent industry standards and customer-specific requirements. The Calibration Engineer will be responsible for executing precise calibration procedures, documenting results with meticulous accuracy, and resolving performance discrepancies through systematic troubleshooting. The role demands a proactive approach to maintaining calibration records in strict adherence to ISO and regulatory mandates, as well as fostering seamless collaboration with inspection and testing teams to uphold operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Calibration Execution: Perform accurate calibration of industrial instruments and equipment, verifying measurements against established standards and customer specifications to ensure reliability and compliance.
• Procedure Development & Documentation: Plan and execute comprehensive test procedures, meticulously document calibration results, and maintain detailed records in compliance with ISO and regulatory requirements.
• Troubleshooting & Performance Analysis: Diagnose instrument performance issues, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions to restore optimal functionality and measurement accuracy.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with inspection and testing teams to align calibration processes with broader quality assurance objectives, support internal audits, and contribute to the continuous improvement of calibration methodologies.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Liaise with clients and internal stakeholders to clarify technical requirements, provide expert guidance, and facilitate training sessions for personnel on calibration best practices and equipment handling.
• Process Optimization: Participate in initiatives aimed at enhancing calibration efficiency, reducing downtime, and ensuring adherence to safety protocols in all operational activities.

Qualifications & Skills

• Technical Expertise: Proven experience in the calibration and testing of industrial instruments and equipment, with a strong foundation in electrical and mechanical engineering principles related to measurement systems and instrumentation.
• Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with powertrain systems, particularly in performance measurement and testing, is highly desirable to support specialized calibration tasks.
• Educational Background: A relevant technical degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a closely related field is required to ensure a comprehensive understanding of calibration methodologies.
• Compliance & Standards: In-depth knowledge of ISO standards, quality management systems, and regulatory compliance frameworks governing industrial environments, with the ability to interpret and apply these requirements effectively.
• Analytical & Communication Skills: Exceptional attention to detail, proficiency in reading technical drawings and specifications, and the ability to communicate complex technical information clearly and concisely to diverse audiences. Strong teamwork and multitasking capabilities are essential to manage multiple calibration assignments safely and efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
