Key Responsibilities

As a Delivery Driver at THUNDERSNOW, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Efficient Route Planning: Utilize GPS and route optimization tools to plan the most efficient delivery routes, ensuring timely arrivals while minimizing fuel consumption and travel time.
• Safe and Secure Transport: Operate company vehicles with the utmost care, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations to ensure the secure delivery of goods. Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections to maintain optimal vehicle condition.
• Customer Interaction: Represent THUNDERSNOW with professionalism by providing courteous and efficient service to customers during deliveries. Address any customer inquiries or concerns promptly and courteously.
• Order Accuracy: Verify delivery orders against invoices or digital records to ensure accuracy. Handle packages with care to prevent damage and maintain product integrity.
• Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including time stamps, customer signatures, and any discrepancies. Report any issues, such as delays or damaged goods, to the operations team immediately.
• Vehicle Maintenance: Perform basic vehicle maintenance tasks, such as checking tire pressure, fluid levels, and ensuring cleanliness. Report any mechanical issues to the fleet management team for timely resolution.

Qualifications and Skills

To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and skills:

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and no major traffic violations.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar role.
• Familiarity with local roads and traffic patterns in Dammam.
• Strong time management and organizational skills to meet tight delivery deadlines.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills, with fluency in Arabic and English.
• Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 20 kg (44 lbs) independently.
• Proficiency in using GPS devices and basic computer applications for route planning and documentation.
• Commitment to safety and adherence to company policies and procedures.
