Musco Entertainment Engineering Team is seeking a highly skilled and creative Entertainment Engineer to join our dynamic team in Dammam, Saudi Arabia. Key Responsibilities

• Client Engagement and Solution Development: Work closely with clients to interpret their creative and technical requirements, translating their vision into customized lighting solutions. Ensure alignment between client expectations and the technical feasibility of proposed designs.
• Lighting Programming and Engineering: Oversee the programming and engineering of entertainment lighting systems, including the development of advanced control interfaces, dynamic lighting effects, and intuitive user interfaces. Ensure seamless integration with existing systems and hardware.
• Technical Support and Maintenance: Provide expert technical support for the servicing, maintenance, and calibration of theatrical lighting fixtures, lasers, and specialized entertainment technologies. Troubleshoot complex issues to maintain optimal performance and reliability of all installed systems.
• 3D Modeling and Pre-Visualization: Utilize cutting-edge 3D modeling and pre-visualization software to create accurate lighting simulations. Develop pre-vis renderings that offer clients a clear preview of the final light show design, functionality, and aesthetic impact before deployment.
• Collaboration with Sales and Creative Teams: Partner with the sales team to produce high-quality rendered content and engaging light show demonstrations. Contribute to proposals and presentations that showcase Musco’s technical capabilities and creative solutions.
• Documentation and Compliance: Maintain meticulous documentation of all projects, including technical configurations, modifications, and system updates. Ensure compliance with industry standards and Musco’s internal protocols for project delivery.
• Innovation and Continuous Improvement: Contribute to the ongoing enhancement of lighting solutions by identifying opportunities for innovation, efficiency, and performance optimization. Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies to drive advancements in entertainment lighting.
• Additional Responsibilities: Fulfill other technical or project-based duties as assigned, including participation in off-hours activities to accommodate global time zones and project deadlines.

Qualifications and Skills

• Education and Experience: A 2 or 4-year degree in Computer Science, Programming, Lighting Design, Theater Lighting, or a related field is required. Candidates with 3-5 years of practical experience in lighting design, programming, or operation will be given preference.
• Technical Proficiency: Strong computer skills and hands-on experience with lighting design, programming, and operation. Familiarity with lighting consoles and ETC hardware/software, such as GrandMA, Hog, Eos, and Mosaic Designer, is highly desirable.
• Lighting Protocols and Networking: In-depth knowledge of DMX, sACN, Artnet, and other lighting protocols. Experience with Audio Visual Lighting (AVL) networking is a valuable asset.
• Advanced Tools and Software: Proficiency with advanced lighting and design tools, including VectorWorks, WYSIWYG, Capture, Unreal Engine, or equivalent Pre-Visualization (Pre-Vis) software. Familiarity with web programming, networking, and scripting is an added advantage.
• Soft Skills: Exceptional organizational skills with a keen attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency. Strong written and verbal communication skills in both English and Arabic, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
• Collaboration and Adaptability: Proven ability to work effectively in collaborative environments, building positive relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders. Capacity to thrive under pressure in dynamic settings, demonstrating composure and professionalism on jobsites.
