Key Responsibilities

The Associate Technical Consultant will be based in Khobar and will be responsible for providing technical and clinical support to customers across the Eastern Province of Saudi Arabia. Reporting to the Regional Technical Consulting Manager, you will collaborate closely with sales, marketing, and clinical teams to ensure seamless integration of Medtronic’s advanced therapies and products into clinical practice. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Clinical and Technical Support: Provide expert guidance during medical procedures, including Percutaneous Coronary Intervention (PCI) and Renal Denervation (RDN), to ensure the safe and effective use of Medtronic’s coronary technologies and therapies.
  • Product Training and Education: Deliver comprehensive clinical education and product training to physicians, nurses, technicians, and other healthcare professionals to enhance their proficiency in using Medtronic’s medical technologies.
  • Relationship Building: Develop and maintain strong professional relationships with healthcare providers, hospital staff, and key stakeholders to foster trust and drive therapy adoption.
  • Account Development: Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to support account development initiatives, ensuring the successful integration of Medtronic’s products into clinical workflows.
  • Inventory Management: Monitor and manage consignment inventory within assigned hospitals to guarantee product availability for critical procedures, while maintaining accurate records of inventory levels and usage.
  • Compliance and Documentation: Ensure adherence to company policies, quality standards, and regulatory requirements, while maintaining meticulous records of case support activities, customer interactions, and inventory using Medtronic’s systems.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Catheterization Laboratory (Cath Lab) teams to support procedures, deliver clinical training, and contribute to the adoption of innovative therapies.

Ideal Candidate Profile

To excel in this role, you will bring a blend of technical expertise, clinical acumen, and a passion for healthcare innovation. The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering, Medical Technology, Nursing, Clinical Sciences, or a related healthcare field.
  • 2–3 years of experience in medical devices, clinical support, healthcare services, or a related industry, with a strong understanding of medical technologies and clinical workflows.
  • A customer-focused mindset with exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to build trust with healthcare professionals.
  • The ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and clinical stakeholders.
  • A commitment to continuous learning and professional development, with the drive to stay updated on the latest advancements in medical technology.
  • Willingness to travel frequently within the assigned territory to provide on-site support, deliver training, and ensure excellent customer service.
