Position Overview
The Physiotherapist at Eradah Medical Rehabilitation Centers plays a pivotal role in the rehabilitation journey of our patients. This position is designed for a skilled and compassionate professional who is dedicated to assessing, treating, and supporting individuals in their recovery from physical impairments. The Physiotherapist will collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement personalized rehabilitation plans, ensuring that each patient receives the highest standard of care. Additionally, the role involves active participation in community outreach, educational initiatives, and continuous professional development to enhance both patient outcomes and organizational growth.
Core Responsibilities
- Patient Evaluation and Rehabilitation Planning:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate patients' physical therapy needs, including mobility, strength, and functional limitations.
- Develop individualized rehabilitation plans that outline clear objectives, treatment modalities, expected outcomes, and discharge criteria.
- Implement evidence-based treatment interventions tailored to each patient’s unique condition and recovery goals.
- Treatment Implementation and Progress Monitoring:
- Provide hands-on physical therapy treatments, including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, electrotherapy, and other modalities as required.
- Regularly reassess patients’ progress and adjust treatment plans to ensure optimal recovery and alignment with their evolving needs.
- Collaborate with the rehabilitation team to integrate insights from occupational therapists, speech therapists, and other specialists for holistic patient care.
- Documentation and Compliance:
- Maintain accurate and detailed documentation in the Electronic Medical System (EMS), including daily treatment notes, progress reports, and discharge summaries.
- Ensure all patient records comply with regulatory standards and organizational policies to uphold the highest standards of care and confidentiality.
- Community Engagement and Education:
- Participate in marketing and community outreach initiatives to raise awareness about the benefits of rehabilitation services.
- Engage in educational activities, such as workshops or seminars, to inform the public and healthcare professionals about best practices in physical therapy.
- Professional Development and Training:
- Plan and conduct in-service training sessions to address identified learning needs and performance improvement goals within the team.
- Provide guidance and consultations to facility staff on physical therapy techniques, evidence-based practices, and emerging trends in the field.
- Additional Duties:
- Perform any other duties as assigned by the direct supervisor that fall within the scope of a Physiotherapist’s role.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
- Licensing: Valid license to practice as a physical therapist in Saudi Arabia, issued by the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCFHS).
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a rehabilitation or hospital setting, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality patient care.
- Skills and Competencies:
- Strong assessment and diagnostic capabilities to identify patients’ physical therapy needs accurately.
- Proven ability to design and implement effective, individualized rehabilitation plans.
- Proficiency in documenting and maintaining patient records in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to educate patients, families, and staff on rehabilitation processes and best practices.
- In-depth knowledge of modern physical therapy techniques, modalities, and evidence-based practices.
