Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Cybersecurity Specialist to join our dynamic team in Dammam, Eastern Province, Saudi Arabia. Key Responsibilities

As a Cybersecurity Specialist, your core responsibilities will include:

• Incident Monitoring and Response: Continuously monitor security alerts and incidents, conducting thorough investigations to identify root causes and implementing corrective actions to mitigate risks. Your vigilance will be pivotal in minimizing potential threats and ensuring business continuity.
• Security Controls and Best Practices: Design, implement, and maintain comprehensive security controls tailored to the organization’s needs. This includes deploying and managing firewalls, endpoint protection solutions, and advanced security monitoring tools to fortify our digital infrastructure.
• Vulnerability Assessments and Penetration Testing: Proactively conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration tests to identify weaknesses in our systems. Your findings will drive strategic improvements to enhance our security posture and resilience against cyber threats.
• Compliance and Policy Management: Ensure adherence to cybersecurity frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST, and CIS Controls. You will play a key role in developing, updating, and enforcing security policies to align with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
• Security Reporting and Awareness: Prepare detailed security reports for leadership and relevant stakeholders, highlighting risks, trends, and mitigation strategies. Additionally, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to promote cybersecurity awareness and foster a culture of security consciousness across the organization.
• Tool and System Management: Oversee the configuration, maintenance, and optimization of security tools, including SIEM (Security Information and Event Management) systems, intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), and endpoint security solutions. Your expertise will ensure these tools operate at peak efficiency to detect and respond to threats in real time.

Qualifications and Requirements

To excel in this role, you must meet the following qualifications:

• Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Security, Computer Science, or a closely related field is required. Advanced degrees or relevant certifications will be considered a strong advantage.
• Experience: A minimum of 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience in cybersecurity, with a proven track record in roles such as Security Analyst, Network Security Engineer, or Information Security Specialist. Experience in sectors with high-security demands will be highly valued.
• Technical Expertise: In-depth knowledge of network security principles, firewalls, SIEM solutions, endpoint security, and risk management frameworks. Familiarity with cloud security and emerging technologies is a plus.
• Certifications: Professional certifications such as Security+, Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), or GIAC Security Essentials (GSEC) are highly preferred and demonstrate your commitment to professional excellence.
• Soft Skills: Exceptional analytical abilities, problem-solving skills, and the capacity to communicate technical concepts clearly and concisely. Your collaborative approach will be essential in working with teams across the organization to implement security initiatives effectively.
