Key Responsibilities

The Senior System Engineer will play a critical role in the following areas:

• System Design and Development: Lead the conceptualization, design, and development of advanced electrical systems, including power distribution, control systems, and automation solutions. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and functionality.
• Project Management: Oversee end-to-end project execution, from initial planning and feasibility studies to installation, testing, and commissioning. Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in accordance with client specifications and regulatory requirements.
• Technical Leadership: Provide mentorship and guidance to junior engineers and technical staff, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Act as a subject matter expert to resolve complex technical challenges.
• Compliance and Safety: Ensure all systems and processes adhere to international standards, such as IEC, IEEE, and local regulatory guidelines. Implement robust safety protocols to mitigate risks and ensure a secure working environment.
• Troubleshooting and Optimization: Diagnose system inefficiencies, performance bottlenecks, and failures. Develop and implement corrective actions to enhance system reliability, efficiency, and scalability.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Liaise with clients, vendors, and internal stakeholders to gather requirements, provide technical insights, and ensure alignment with business objectives. Maintain strong relationships to drive customer satisfaction and project success.

Qualifications and Experience

To excel in this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, or a related field. A Master’s degree or professional certifications (e.g., PMP, PE) are advantageous.
• Experience: Minimum of 8-10 years of progressive experience in system engineering, with a focus on electrical systems, power distribution, or industrial automation. Prior experience in the Middle East or within the electrical manufacturing sector is preferred.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in system design tools (e.g., AutoCAD, ETAP, SCADA), programming languages (e.g., PLC, Python), and project management software. Familiarity with industry standards and compliance frameworks is essential.
• Soft Skills: Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Ability to lead teams, manage stakeholders, and articulate technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Language Proficiency: Fluency in English is required; proficiency in Arabic is a plus.
• Work Authorization: Eligibility to work in Saudi Arabia with a valid work visa.
