Key Responsibilities

As an Assembly & Test Technician at NOV Inc., your core duties will include:

• Component Assembly: Accurately assemble mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic components according to detailed engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications. Ensure all parts are correctly installed and aligned to meet performance requirements.
• Testing and Quality Assurance: Conduct rigorous functional tests, performance evaluations, and quality inspections to verify that assembled systems meet industry standards and customer expectations. Document test results and report any deviations or defects for further analysis.
• Troubleshooting and Problem Resolution: Identify and diagnose issues during assembly or testing phases. Collaborate with engineering teams to resolve technical challenges and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
• Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance and calibration of assembly tools and testing equipment to ensure optimal performance and compliance with safety protocols. Maintain a clean and organized workspace to uphold workplace safety and efficiency standards.
• Documentation and Compliance: Maintain accurate records of assembly processes, test results, and quality control checks in accordance with company and regulatory guidelines. Ensure all documentation is complete, legible, and readily available for audits or inspections.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineers, supervisors, and quality assurance personnel, to streamline production processes and enhance overall operational efficiency. Participate in team meetings and provide constructive feedback to improve workflows.

Qualifications and Skills

To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and competencies:

• Technical Proficiency: Hands-on experience with mechanical assembly, electrical wiring, and hydraulic systems. Familiarity with tools such as multimeters, torque wrenches, and precision measuring instruments is essential.
• Quality Focus: A meticulous approach to work with a strong commitment to quality assurance and attention to detail. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately.

• Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent is required. Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in assembly or testing roles within a manufacturing or industrial setting is advantageous.
