TechnipFMC, a global leader in subsea, onshore/offshore, and surface technologies, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) Advisor to join our dynamic team in Dammam, Saudi Arabia. In this pivotal role, you will play a critical part in ensuring the highest standards of safety, environmental compliance, and operational excellence across our projects. As a Senior HSE Advisor, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing robust HSE management systems while fostering a culture of safety and sustainability within the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Strategic HSE Leadership: Provide expert guidance and leadership to senior management and project teams on HSE policies, procedures, and best practices. Develop and implement comprehensive HSE strategies aligned with TechnipFMC’s global standards and local regulatory requirements.
• Risk Management & Compliance: Conduct thorough risk assessments, hazard identifications, and safety audits to mitigate potential risks and ensure compliance with international HSE regulations, including OSHA, ISO 45001, ISO 14001, and local Saudi Arabian standards. Monitor and report on HSE performance metrics to drive continuous improvement.
• Training & Awareness: Design and deliver targeted HSE training programs for employees at all levels, ensuring a deep understanding of safety protocols, emergency response procedures, and environmental stewardship. Promote a proactive safety culture through regular workshops, toolbox talks, and engagement initiatives.
• Incident Investigation & Reporting: Lead thorough investigations into HSE incidents, near-misses, and non-conformances to identify root causes and implement corrective actions. Prepare detailed reports and recommendations for senior leadership to prevent recurrence and enhance operational safety.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, operations, procurement, and external contractors, to integrate HSE considerations into all project phases. Serve as the primary HSE liaison with regulatory bodies, clients, and third-party auditors to ensure seamless compliance and certification.
• Sustainability & Environmental Stewardship: Drive initiatives to reduce the company’s environmental footprint, including waste management, energy efficiency, and carbon reduction strategies. Ensure adherence to environmental regulations and promote sustainable practices across all operations.
• Performance Monitoring & Reporting: Develop and track KPIs to measure HSE performance, including incident rates, near-miss reporting, and compliance audit results. Present findings to senior management and recommend data-driven improvements to enhance safety outcomes.

Qualifications & Experience

To excel in this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications and attributes:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field. A Master’s degree or professional certifications (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH, CSP, or equivalent) are highly desirable.
• Experience: Minimum of 10 years of progressive HSE experience, with at least 5 years in a senior advisory or leadership role within the oil and gas, petrochemical, or energy sector. Proven track record in implementing HSE management systems and achieving measurable safety improvements.
• Technical Proficiency: In-depth knowledge of HSE regulations, standards, and industry best practices, including familiarity with Saudi Aramco’s HSE requirements and local regulatory frameworks. Proficiency in HSE software tools and data analysis is a plus.
• Leadership & Communication: Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels. Strong verbal and written communication skills to articulate complex HSE concepts clearly and persuasively.
• Problem-Solving & Analytical Skills: Demonstrated ability to analyze data, identify trends, and develop innovative solutions to enhance HSE performance. Critical thinking and decision-making skills to address emerging safety challenges proactively.
