ERP Program Manager

Key Responsibilities

• Program Leadership: Oversee the full lifecycle of ERP programs, from initial planning and stakeholder alignment to execution, monitoring, and closure, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
• Stakeholder Management: Engage with senior leadership, business units, IT teams, and external vendors to define requirements, mitigate risks, and ensure alignment with strategic goals.
• Project Planning & Execution: Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope definition, resource allocation, risk management, and change management strategies to drive successful ERP deployments.
• Vendor & Partner Coordination: Collaborate with ERP software vendors, implementation partners, and third-party providers to ensure smooth integration, timely delivery, and adherence to contractual obligations.
• Change Management: Lead organizational change initiatives to facilitate user adoption, training, and process optimization, ensuring minimal disruption and maximum ROI from ERP investments.
• Performance Monitoring: Establish KPIs and metrics to track program progress, identify bottlenecks, and implement corrective actions to maintain alignment with business objectives.
• Risk & Issue Resolution: Proactively identify potential risks, develop mitigation strategies, and resolve issues to prevent delays or cost overruns in ERP program delivery.

Qualifications & Skills

To excel in this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field. A Master’s degree or relevant certification (e.g., PMP, ERP certifications) is highly desirable.
• Experience: Minimum of 8-10 years of progressive experience in ERP program management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role overseeing large-scale ERP implementations across industries such as manufacturing, finance, or supply chain.
• Technical Proficiency: Deep understanding of ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics) and their modules, including finance, HR, supply chain, and procurement. Familiarity with cloud-based ERP solutions is a plus.
• Soft Skills: Exceptional communication, negotiation, and leadership abilities to influence stakeholders at all levels. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to navigate complex program challenges.
• Certifications: PMP, PRINCE2, or ERP-specific certifications (e.g., SAP Certified Program Manager) are advantageous.
