Join Our Team as a GIS I&C Engineer

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic GIS I&C Engineer to contribute to our team's success. In this role, you will be responsible for the installation, repair, and maintenance of switching systems worldwide for PGHV, ensuring adherence to project deadlines and cost-performance ratios. You will represent PG and PGHV, embodying our quality assurance philosophy and considering the unique conditions of each construction site.

• Carry out installation and maintenance work independently, ensuring compliance with installation requirements and accident prevention measures.
• Prepare red-mark drawings/documents, advising sub-suppliers' installation superintendents on workforce planning and coordination.
• Cooperate with the PG Project Manager to establish work status, inspect arriving material, and issue non-conformance reports.
• Supervise final installation & commissioning tests, loop check activities, and site meetings as requested.
• Ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines, and uphold Hitachi Energy’s core values of safety and integrity.

To excel in this role, you should possess a bachelor’s degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering, with a minimum of 2-5 years of experience in GIS. Previous experience with SF6 GAS-Handling and PGHV Transmission & Sub transmission GIS, along with proficiency in MS Project and English, would be an asset.
