Key Responsibilities

As a Network Engineer at BRDigitech WLL, you will be responsible for a wide range of technical and operational duties, including:

• Network Design and Implementation: Develop and deploy scalable, secure, and high-performance network architectures, including LAN, WAN, VPN, and cloud-based solutions, tailored to meet business and customer requirements.
• Network Configuration and Maintenance: Install, configure, and optimize network hardware and software, such as routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, and intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), ensuring optimal uptime and reliability.
• Troubleshooting and Problem Resolution: Diagnose and resolve complex network issues promptly, minimizing downtime and ensuring business continuity through proactive monitoring and rapid incident response.
• Security and Compliance: Implement and enforce network security policies, conduct regular vulnerability assessments, and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements to protect sensitive data and infrastructure.
• Performance Monitoring and Optimization: Utilize advanced monitoring tools to analyze network performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement improvements to enhance speed, efficiency, and user experience.
• Collaboration and Support: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including IT, cybersecurity, and cloud engineering, to deliver integrated solutions and provide technical guidance and support to end-users and stakeholders.
• Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of network configurations, changes, and incidents, and generate regular reports to inform leadership and support auditing processes.

Qualifications and Skills

To excel in this role, candidates should possess the following qualifications and competencies:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Telecommunications, or a related field. Relevant certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, CompTIA Network+, or Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) are highly desirable.
• Technical Proficiency: Hands-on experience with network protocols (TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, VLANs), routing and switching technologies, and familiarity with network security tools and best practices.
• Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities to resolve complex network issues efficiently and effectively.
• Communication and Collaboration: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and work effectively within a team environment.
• Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving technology landscape and willingness to learn new tools and methodologies as needed.
• Experience: Minimum of 3–5 years of progressive experience in network engineering, preferably within a corporate or enterprise environment.
