QA/QC Engineer

Key Responsibilities

The QA/QC Engineer will be responsible for a broad range of quality-focused activities, including:

• Quality System Development and Implementation: Design, refine, and deploy robust quality assurance and quality control procedures to uphold the highest standards across all operational and project activities.
• Inspection and Compliance Oversight: Conduct thorough inspections at critical stages of project execution and production to verify compliance with approved specifications, industry standards, and contractual requirements.
• Documentation and Record Review: Evaluate technical documentation, drawings, and quality records to ensure accuracy, completeness, and alignment with established quality protocols.
• Material and Supplier Management: Coordinate and oversee material inspections and testing activities, ensuring suppliers and contractors consistently meet quality requirements and contractual obligations.
• Quality Issue Resolution: Investigate non-conformances, identify root causes, and implement corrective and preventive actions to mitigate risks and enhance product and process quality.
• Reporting and Analysis: Prepare comprehensive quality reports, analyze key performance indicators (KPIs), and present findings to stakeholders to support data-driven decision-making.
• Audit Support and Compliance: Conduct internal quality audits to assess adherence to ISO standards and client specifications, while also providing support during external audits to ensure seamless compliance verification.
• Continuous Improvement Initiatives: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process optimization, waste reduction, and quality enhancement across operational workflows.
• Record Maintenance: Maintain accurate and up-to-date quality documentation, inspection records, and audit trails to support regulatory compliance and internal audits.

Qualifications and Competencies

To excel in this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline from an accredited institution.
• Professional Experience: Minimum of five years of hands-on experience in quality assurance and quality control, with a proven track record in engineering, construction, or manufacturing environments.
• Technical Proficiency: In-depth understanding of ISO quality management systems and familiarity with inspection and testing methodologies to ensure compliance with industry standards.
• Analytical and Documentation Skills: Exceptional ability to analyze complex data, interpret technical documents, and prepare detailed reports with clarity and precision.
• Certifications and Advantages: Possession of Lead Auditor or other relevant quality certifications is considered a valuable asset.
• Language Proficiency: Fluency in English is essential to effectively communicate with stakeholders, document findings, and ensure seamless collaboration across global teams.
