Job Overview

We are seeking a seasoned and visionary Manufacturing Director to lead and oversee our manufacturing operations in Dammam. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for driving operational excellence, optimizing production processes, and ensuring the highest standards of quality, efficiency, and safety. The ideal candidate will possess a proven track record in manufacturing leadership, a deep understanding of lean manufacturing principles, and the ability to foster a culture of continuous improvement within the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement manufacturing strategies aligned with the company’s long-term goals, ensuring sustainable growth and profitability. Collaborate with senior management to define and execute operational objectives.
• Production Management: Oversee daily manufacturing operations, including planning, scheduling, and resource allocation to meet production targets while maintaining cost efficiency and quality standards.
• Quality Assurance: Establish and enforce rigorous quality control measures to ensure compliance with industry regulations and customer specifications. Lead initiatives to minimize defects and enhance product reliability.
• Process Optimization: Identify opportunities for process improvements, automation, and waste reduction through the application of lean manufacturing methodologies. Implement innovative solutions to enhance productivity and reduce operational costs.
• Team Leadership: Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing manufacturing team, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous learning. Develop talent within the organization to ensure long-term success.
• Health, Safety, and Environmental Compliance: Ensure adherence to all health, safety, and environmental regulations, promoting a safe working environment and sustainable manufacturing practices.
• Supply Chain Coordination: Work closely with procurement, logistics, and other departments to streamline supply chain operations, optimize inventory levels, and mitigate risks associated with material shortages or delays.
• Budget and Cost Management: Develop and manage the manufacturing budget, tracking expenditures and identifying cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality or safety.
• Technology Integration: Evaluate and implement advanced manufacturing technologies, such as Industry 4.0 solutions, to enhance operational efficiency, data analytics, and predictive maintenance capabilities.
• Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for manufacturing-related matters, providing regular updates to senior leadership, customers, and regulatory bodies as required.

Qualifications and Experience

To excel in this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:

• A bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Management, Business Administration, or a related field. An advanced degree or professional certifications (e.g., Six Sigma, PMP, or APICS) are highly desirable.
• A minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in manufacturing leadership, with at least 5 years in a director-level or equivalent role.
• Proven expertise in lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Strong operational and financial acumen, with a track record of delivering measurable results in cost reduction, productivity enhancement, and quality improvement.
• Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams.
• In-depth knowledge of manufacturing technologies, automation, and Industry 4.0 principles.
• Familiarity with ISO standards, OSHA regulations, and other relevant compliance frameworks.
• Proficiency in enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems and manufacturing execution systems (MES).
• Professional fluency in English; additional language skills are a plus.
