Position Overview
Greenberg Traurig (GT), a globally recognized law firm with a presence in 15 countries, is seeking a highly motivated IT Account Administration Specialist to join our dynamic team at the Riyadh Regional Headquarters. As a key member of our IT Account Administration Team, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless operation of critical systems, maintaining user access, and supporting the firm’s technological infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
The IT Account Administration Specialist is responsible for a wide range of account management and administrative tasks, including:
- Account Creation and Maintenance: Establishing and managing Active Directory (AD) and ADERANT accounts for new hires, including account modifications, deactivations, and deletions to ensure data integrity and security.
- Cloud Account Management: Overseeing user accounts in Microsoft Entra (Azure) and third-party systems such as Dropbox, BOX, Google Workspace, Sharefile, Preparis, eFax, PingOne Identity, Zoom, and others to facilitate efficient collaboration and data access.
- Distribution List and Group Administration: Creating and maintaining firm-wide distribution lists in on-premises Active Directory and cloud-based groups in Microsoft Entra (Azure) to streamline communication and workflows.
- Ticketing System Management: Logging, tracking, and updating all requests via the Ivanti ticketing system, ensuring timely resolution and follow-up with clients and IT teams as needed.
- Compliance and Approval Coordination: Identifying issues that require approval from the Office of Firm Counsel, working closely with stakeholders to obtain necessary approvals, and tracking user recertification in the SQL database.
- Tier I Support and On-Call Duties: Providing first-level technical support and participating in on-call rotations to address urgent IT account administration issues outside regular business hours.
- Training and Mentorship: Assisting in the training of new Helpdesk representatives and Account Administration personnel, ensuring they are equipped with the knowledge and skills to perform their roles effectively.
- Advanced Support for HR and Legal Teams: Delivering specialized support to Human Resources and the Office of Firm Counsel, including handling sensitive account-related requests and ensuring compliance with firm policies.
- Process Improvement and Documentation: Contributing to the identification and implementation of enhancements for the Account Administration function, maintaining up-to-date documentation such as Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Quick Reference Cards (QRCs).
- Policy and System Communication: Reviewing and disseminating communications regarding new policies, procedures, and system changes or outages to ensure all stakeholders are informed and aligned.
- Project Participation: Serving as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) on firm-wide technology projects and potentially managing small initiatives as assigned to drive innovation and efficiency.
Qualifications and Competencies
To excel in this role, candidates must possess the following skills and attributes:
- Technical Proficiency: Advanced knowledge of Active Directory, ADERANT, and GT’s policies and procedures related to account access rights and AD processes, along with familiarity with Helpdesk and call center tools.
